Planning Your Route

We've got it all. Solitude, distance, sights and history.

Solitude

Fly into the remote edges of the park and paddle back to the entrance. With fewer than 1,000 visitors per season, Woodland Caribou Provincial Park is true wilderness.

Distance

Cover 8–20+ miles a day depending on pace. Shore lunches, wildlife encounters and photography all factor in.

History & sights

First Nations pictographs are found throughout the park. The Bloodvein River — a Canadian Heritage River — and the Gammon run through the park.

Entry points

5 road entries: Leano, Oni, Johnson, Lund, and Upper Chukuni. Ground and air shuttles available to all entrances and interior lakes.
